- Next, clean your pool toys. This keeps germs and bacteria at bay. Ideally, you should mix a gallon of water with 16 ounces of bleach. Then, scrub the pool toy with a brush. Be sure to wear gloves and protective eyewear while doing this, however!
- Finally, safely store your pool toys after use. This will keep them from being exposed to the elements and potentially getting damaged. It can also potentially prevent a drowning should a child want to play with it in the moment.
