Chris Oswalt

When you are the Founder and CEO of the largest (and we have no problem with admitting we think we’re the best, too!) inground fiberglass pool builder in the Midwest, there’s no shame in showing a little swagger. While he would never admit it, Chris is the one who always steers this ship and ensures smooth sailing no matter the waters he has to navigate. Chris has one goal on his mind at all times, and that is to ensure all of our customers’ dreams come true. Plus, he gets a kick out of team building and putting together the greatest group of designers, managers, and crews ever known in the pool business.

“I love the challenges of a backyard oasis, starting from concept to completion,” he asserted. “And I enjoy serving my customer better than the next guy.”

It’s on secret how amazing Chris is at his job, but he claims if he wasn’t in this industry, he’d probably make a great cruise ship captain. But, then again, he might find an even greater opportunity as a Booze Cruise Director. Chris admits, however, that he has always wanted to be an engineer. When you look at all the projects he has completed for Probuilt customers, though, the evidence suggests he checks all the boxes of what engineers do anyway.

Off the clock, Chris enjoys adventures in travel, attending industry trade shows and conferences, continuing his education in pools and other elements of backyard living, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, playing a rousing game of English darts, spending time on, in or near the water, and just meeting new people and making new friends.

If Chris were ever tasked with inventing a holiday, it’d be Pool Day. Suffice it to say, every Probuilt Pool & Patio customer has the opportunity to enjoy Pool Day as often as they’d like.

One of the inherent reasons for the success of Probuilt Pool & Patio can be attributed to Chris’ never give up mentality. No matter how bad things get, he refuses to lose sight of the goal at hand.

One caveat, however, and consider this fair warning: Chris is unafraid to speak his mind and enjoy the results. Translation? When you hear him speak, that is simply honesty, integrity, and pure authenticity at work.
